I simply do my bass work in Sonar32 and freeze it then switch to Sonar64 for other work. Right now my workaround is relatively simple but I'm sure I'll get tired of it fast. So it's safe until VST support changes somehow. and this player shouldn't need support other than bugfixes (?) as the format and feature set will never change. I know that Kontakt is more versatile as it loads so many formats and still has a life of it's own, but the price stretches me even further. But I will keep that in mind as it would be fine for the bass alone.
I seem to remember that the player will only load a small subset of library they provide? I might be wrong. but if it does the job I'd get used to it. I have the Kontakt player on my 32bit system and I can't say I've been very fond of the interface. I know the giga format is dead, but if you have a library (I have very little other than the bass), it's like keeping an old instrument for it's value. It's still the best set of bass samples I've found anywhere. But I can't lose my Will Lee Bass Sample Library. I might have lived with that for a time, but I tried to add an lfo to modulate the pitch (vibrato) with a midi controller as I often do and can't find any such abilities in it.Īny info regarding the use and the working of this synth would be helpful.īut even better would be a recommendation for a solid Sample Player that can load/play Gigasampler libraries. I found a sampler called Linux Player (?) but it's very weird and seems to be missing some features that are important for me.įirst off it seems to lead FXTeleport so it is actually not even local. Now moving to 64bit I find that the DXi's don't work and the vst is only 32bit and will not load in X1 I've been using VSampler to play my Gigastudio sample in the 32bit world. I'm sure I asked about this before but didn't find it searching just now. Any Recommendation for a 64bit Sample Player that supports Giga?
